AIM: The delegates are able to work as an organ and tissue transplantation coordinator


OBJECTIVES: The delegates will able to

  • Describe various terminologies in transplant and types of donor.
  • Explain concept of brain death
  • Describe legal aspects in transplantation.
  • Explain various types of organ transplant including its pre requisites, screening, investigations, organ preservation, procedures, care of recipient and donor.
  • Explain transplant coordinator and Nurse’s role in transplantation.
